Tax Clinic Director

MidPenn Legal Services was recently awarded a grant to operate a low-income tax payer clinic in 18 Central PA counties.  The Low Income Tax Payer Clinic (LITC) of MidPenn Legal Services will assist low-income individuals to resolve tax disputes with the IRS and provide outreach and education to taxpayers who speak English as a second language (ESL). 

Services will begin in January 2015 and will be provided in the following counties: Adams, Bedford, Berks, Blair, Centre, Clearfield, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Mifflin, Perry, Schuylkill and York.

The LITC of MidPenn Legal Services will be staffed with a full-time attorney who will serve in the capacity as Clinic Director. The Clinical Director will work under the supervision of the MidPenn Executive Director and Director of Advocacy.  MidPenn is currently seeking an attorney with 6-8 years of service in the area of Tax Law to serve as the Clinic Director.  Those interested in applying should send resume, cover letter and writing sample to:
