Every year, thousands of people with nowhere else to turn for help turn to the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network of civil legal aid programs for legal assistance in civil matters. Clients must qualify financially for the services although victims of domestic violence are assisted in obtaining protection of abuse orders regardless of income.

Our network of civil legal aid programs across Pennsylvania helps low-income families when they face serious legal problems. For example, clients are victims of domestic violence; they face loss of their home; or they are disabled and need financial help.

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to support the cause of equal access to justice. Donors can also choose to support the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Excellence Awards or sponsor a law student or a law school graduate in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Internship or Fellowship Program.
